It’s a cool tool - the
Virtual Gettysburg Panorama. There are actually 21 of them but be forewarned, it is a slow-loading website but still worth the wait. There is also a little bit of a blur in the images, but if you’re willing to get past that you can actually use your mouse to pan and zoom, see the historic images from new angles and click to move on to the next one.
Granted, going to the locations and seeing them in person is best, but if you aren’t in Gettysburg and won’t be for a few weeks then this is a cool tool. Better have broadband because you’ll need the fast connection speed to see the moving images. Enjoy!
