It’s a 36-mile driving tour that will lead you in all directions around Gettysburg Pennsylvania and allow you to experience the beauty and splendor of one of the most beautiful counties in Pennsylvania.   • Meade School - Part of the Luteran Theological Seminary. Founded in 1826.
  • Springs Avenue and Seminary Ridge - One of the highlights of the Gettysburg battlefield tour.
  • West Confederate Avenue and West Middle Street - A principle position for the Confederate Army in the Civil War.
  • Eisenhower Farm - For everyone who likes Ike. And some who don’t.

  • Lower Marsh Creek Presbyterian Church - This church was built in 1790, but the congregation that met there had been meeting since 1740.

  • Knouse Foods Cooperative - Did you know that Adams County is the leading fruit producing county in Pennslvania?
  • Bingaman Road - For about two miles you’ll see nothing but peach and apple orchards. And this is the perfect season for that.
  • Cashtown Pass - The main route of Lee’s army and for the Confederate wounded.
  • Church Road - See the location of a famous massacre by the Shawnee Indians, a historic even that led to Mary Jemison marrying an Indian. She died in 1833.
  • St. Ignatius of Loyola - This historic church features a statue of Mary Jemison. You are encouraged to park and visit the area.
  • The Narrows - A favorite picnic area for local residents, this is one of the coolest places in Adams County. Right next to Conewago Creek, if you like trout fishing then this is a popular destination.
  • South Mountain Fairgrounds - Home of the annual fair, the Apple Blossom Festival, and the Apple Harvest Festival.
  • Biglerville - Apple Capital, USA. This is home to one of the largest apple processing plants in the world.
  • South Main Street - Also called Biglerville Road. Stop at the historic marker pointing to where George Washington once stayed.
  • Russell’s Tavern - After squashing the Whiskey Rebellion, George Washington slept here in 1794.
  • Gettysburg College - See the statue of President Eisenhower.
