Rock Chapel is one of the oldest churches in the area. Built in 1773, this Methodist church is the oldest church of its denomination. It was rebuilt in 1849 and the original building is still located nearby. The historical marker was erected in 1947.

Rock Chapel is located in Heidlersburg, Pennsylvania. You can find it at the intersection of Old Harrisburg Road and Oxford Road. This is one great historical marker in an area where you’ll find a ton of them.
