Olde Tyme Days Are Here Again

I am writing this post from the Dover public library. My wife and I spent the night up here last night in a pup tent so we could be the first vendors to grab a space in the Old Tyme Days. This looks like it will be one cool event - 24th annual.

This morning as we were waking up a couple of other vendors rolled in to set up their booths right beside us. It was about 51 degrees at 6 a.m. today. Ouch! It was a bit on the cool side.

At any rate, we weathered it and now I’m continuing my writing from the library while my wife watches the booths. The actual show begins at 5 p.m. tonight and we’re expecting a huge crowd tomorrow. Theresa (my wife) hand makes dolls, quilts, and baby clothes so she will be selling those. I am peddling used tools, corkscrews, scissors, and some crafts - handmade jewelry, which my step-daughter made, candle holders, and a couple of poetry books that I wrote.

If you’re not busy tonight, tomorrow, or Sunday, stop by and see us. The Old Tyme Days in Dover, Pa. is taking place on Canal Road across from Neiman’s garage (if you know where that is).
