There’s a lot going on this weekend. My wife and I are heading over to Dover, Pa. to participate in Olde Tyme Days. It’s the 24th annual South Central Pennsylvania Historical Lifestyle and Power Society Olde Tyme Days. It starts tomorrow and runs through the 24th of August. Location: Canal and Mill Creek Roads in Dover. We’ll be setting up a booth and selling tools, knives, and corkscrews and other airport security confiscations along with my wife’s hand made quilts, dolls, and baby clothes. We usually do this at the Gettysburg Market, but this event in Dover is a once-a-year event and there is no booth fee so we’re pitching a tent and camping out. It’ll be a lot of fun.

Saturday I’ll be in York for YorkFest. Great weekend. Poetry, arts, culture, you know the deal. It’s Saturday and Sunday in downtown York and will be a grand event. I, along with many other poets, will read, and Saturday afternoon we’ll kick off a play that includes myself, Lancaster poet Jeff Rath, and several others. Come on out if you get the chance.

Other events this weekend include the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival, South Mountain Fair, and Gettysburg Championship, for avid golfers.
