On his way out of Gettysburg, Robert E. Lee passed through Waynesboro, Pennsylvania and stopped long enough to occupy the town. Whether or not that has anything to do with Waynesboro’s strange happenings today is another story. Nevertheless, a couple of Waynesboro residents are starting a ghost tour similar to the ones to be found here in Gettysburg.
John and Jenny Poniske are avid ghost tourists and decided to start Waynsboro After Dark after attending a ghost tour in Gettysburg and being disappointed. They didn’t say which tour in Gettysburg disappointed them, but they are modeling the Waynesboro ghost tour after those in Gettysburg.
The tours in Waynesboro begin in October. For more information, read Public Opinion Online.
