Gettysburg Pennsylvania has many historic churches. Now, visitors to Gettysburg can tour those historic churches - eight in all - over the course of a few weeks. The tour makes its rounds on Wednesdays.

The tour begins in June and runs through August. The tour is broken up into an East segment and a West segment, each covering about half a mile or slightly more and covering a handful of the eight churches involved. The West tour begins at the Prince of Peace Episcopal Church and the East tour starts at the Gettysburg Presbyterian Church. Each tour lasts about 90 minutes and covers four churches. Special tours are also available for groups of 25 or more.

The next East tour is on June 18. The next West tour is on June 25. They start at 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. There is a nominal fee and visitors are asked to arrive about 10 minutes early.

The Gettysburg Presbyterian Church is located at 208 Baltimore Street. Prince of Peace Episcopal Church is located at 20 West High Street.
