Local artist Robyn Jacobs will have her art displayed at Gettysburg College during the month of October. From October 3-31, 2008, to be exact.

The exhibit is being sponsored by the Adams County Arts Council. This is the council’s fifth annual juried exhibition, which will be housed in the Schmucker Art Gallery on North Washington Street. An opening reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 3. You can see the exhibit during the month of October from Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The contest that Jacobs won to have her artwork exhibited drew more than 200 entries. Awards will be given at 7 p.m. on October 3.

If you are visiting Gettysburg during the month of October, be sure to add a couple of hours to your schedule for the exhibit and see Jacobs’ work.
