The Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival is one of the brightest events to come this way in a long time. In August, you’ll get to hear your favorite bluegrass bands play in the open air and if you like Bluegrass music then there is no better place to experience it than Gettysburg.

The dates are August 21-24. The festival will be held at the Granite Hill Camping Resort, a nice facility with a swimming pool, grocery store, playground for the kids, concessions, and a bathroom facility.

The bands playing this year include Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, Seldom Scene, Chris Hillman & Herb Pederson, Larry Sparks, The Grascals, Mike Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Sam Bush Band, Lonesome River Band, and Dale Ann Bradley.

Ticket prices start at $35 for one day and move up to $110 for the full four days if you buy them in advance. It’s $125 at the gate for the four day ticket. You can also rent a campsite with electricity for $30 or a tent site for $15.

Every year history is made and re-made at Gettysburg’s Bluegrass Festival. For more information call 1-800-642-8368.
