Gettysburg’s Majestic Theater Offers Live Telecasts Of The Metropolitan Opera

Gettysburg Pennsylvania residents don’t have to travel far to see the Metropolitan Opera. Starting this Monday, September 22, 2008, the Majestic Theater will play the opera for audiences every Saturday until May 2009. The presentations will consist of nine live high definition telecasts.

The Met has offered the telecasts to major markets for two years, but just this year they opened up the telecasts to colleges and universities, which allowed the local Majestic Theater an opportunity to show the live performances as well.
